I have only been on a few NATRC rides (a few years back)
but now that I have my own trailer, I hope to get back into 
distance riding.  My sister rides and runs and we are tossing 
the idea around about doing a ride & tie.  I haven't run in 
a few years but I am in decent shape and could probably get
myself in condition by the ride in October that I have my
eye on.  I really don't know much about this sport other than 
what I have read on the internet.  I live in the east, so there
aren't as many races here.  Just wondering who's done this and
do you have any advice.
