[RC] Coso Junction Jam/ Scalded Elbow - GarnerTDear Ridecampers! I have 2 questions for you... does anyone know if Coso Junction Jam will be held this year? Tried to email from last year's entry form to inquire, but email could not be delivered... if it's not happening, then I'll need to look at doing some calendar adjusting. Next & more importantly, I took my horse to the vet today. He had his sheath cleaned, teeth floated, had his WNV booster & a strangles done. He gets the strangles vaccine up the nose. He's had these vaccinations before with no problem. When I went out to check him this evening, he had what appeared to be scalded elbow on his right front. It was not there when we went to the vet. Shots were given on the left side, so I don't think it's that. Can scalded elbow just appear out of the blue like that??? Help! I've seen scalded elbow on a horse at a boarding stable, couldn't remember what it was called, so I had to go through my horse owner's vet manual to find out. (Really scary looking at all the things that can go wrong!)
