As much as you all may want to brag about three digit numbers, the original, the initial number system went well into the four digit numbers. Actually plus or minus 2500. Ron and Ruth Waltenspeil, long time members from the west are in the 2400's and they were riding long before many of those with one, two, or three digit AERC numbers.

 

So, do not compare longevity with the AERC numbers less than 3000.

This is interesting since we were just discussing it a few weeks ago when we printed out a list of all the members in the West to look up or check current members for the OH ride.

There are only 3 members in the West with 3 digit numbers and after that it pretty much goes alphabetical until about #2500.

There is even one member with 6 digits before they went to the MXXXXX.
