[RC] [RC] Pictures of the Tevis trail in question - elsieteehttp://www.quacky.co.uk/~elsie/RF-FH-Tevis-preride/ Becky wrote: WOW Lucy and Nick! Thanks SO much for sharing these. It feels like I got to ride that section of the trail already! Always eager to provide the remote-guided-trail service :) Actually, I did this with people like you in mind (hence the endless, repetitive pictures of nothing in particular - just trail [and Shadow's butt]). We're due to pre-ride Foresthill to Auburn in a couple of weeks and if you haven't set off by then, I'll try and get those photos up as well. That trail is gorgeous - but I can't promise to take pics of the really hairy sections. :) Now I really can't wait for Tevis. Just keep your fingers crossed for cool. It was 98 at our house on Monday (ten miles south of the Tevis river crossing, at 2000'). The heat was the biggest thing that struck me from the weekend - and it wasn't even bad that day. Eurk. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, right? What a treat to be able to study these and get a feel for the trail. I feel much more relieved of my "worries". ...but, but... Becky - I didn't take pics of the really exciting bits (there are times when I really needed to ride the horse)... =8^o * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Lucy Chaplin Trumbull elsietee AT foothill DOT net Repotted english person in the Sierra foothills, California * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
