Hi, Kristi,
Have you used them to tie to the trailer on the
outside?  I wonder (assuming
you were very careful to stretch them out so that
they weren't too long) if
they would work well for tying to Hi Ties?  I guess
one big problem might be
whether they would give rope burns if the horse got
hung up.

I haven't used them with my Hi Ties; I use good old
cotton leadropes (thank you Karen Chaton). These
particular coil ties don't seem 'sturdy' enough for me
to be comfortable tying a horse all nite with
them...but let me know if you try it and it goes well!
