RE: [RC] [RC] [RC] WS 50 ACCIDENT WE WERE THERE - Catfish DanielsOK - let's not talk about civil suits - that is not at all what's gonna do Endurance any justice. I fully support that people should take control of their horses as to not endanger others around you. But this guy is being blamed for something without anybody knowing his story. I know for a fact that at this very same section of the trail, even before and after that point, is very trecherous. I got the heebie-jeebies on that section more than on the actual California Loop, and because that section was early on in the ride, there was a number of times where there was stop-and go, and with all the dust, horses slightly bumped into me, and I probably did the same. Hey, a horse died here - that's an enormous blame to throw at any person. Let's not do that all so quickly - and my gosh, this incredible Western States Trail and the history behind it - let's not ruin that with words of "civil suits" etc.Catfish From: "Laurie Durgin" <ladurgin@xxxxxxx> To: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [RC] [RC] WS 50 ACCIDENT WE WERE THERE Date: Sun, 04 Jul 2004 22:02:06 -0400 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
