[RC] Disappointed at a Ride - Wisconsin - Tina RushingCarrie, you have my sympathy. I've only ridden in the west where we are fortunate to have a multitude of great rides. I usually travel alone. My camp neighbors and new-found riding buddies have been great. Rides here tend to be "big" (a lot of entries). I've often thought it might be nice to travel out to an area where there were only 20 riders in camp. I've done a lot more crewing than riding. I look out for solo riders who might need help. Maybe it takes one to know one. Helping solo riders keeps the boredom level at a minimum. Unless you're chasing a front-runner, hangin' out for endless hours waiting for "your" riders can get a little tedious. I hope you'll give it another shot. It would be nice if you had a buddy. Aren't there any Wisconsin-area folks that that Carrie cmhadley@xxxxxxxxxx could hook up with?
