Why does the toe get cut off so much? They aren't supposed to cut off
the TOE, for heaven's sake. I haven't seen one case of navicular as a
result of these shoes. They are the best synthetic shoes on the market as
far as I'm concerned. They are NOT for every horse though and should only
be used on horses whose feet do not tend to spread. I did several hundred
miles on those shoes last season. Because we didn't have any in stock when
we started shoeing this spring, we've been using aluminum Eventers and just
haven't gone back to them. I would use them again though. But don't
use them if what you are currently doing works. We tried them on Malik so
we had personal experience with them and do use them on horses when people
request them and Nelson feels they would be a benefit (such as those pesky
horses that like to pull front shoes).
