YAHHOOEE!! I did my first novice ride after a few months
of training, lurking on ridecamp and reading everything I could get my hands on.
I went to AHDRA III. Man I had a blast and the RM and volunteers so COOL!!!!!
Thanks to Barbara, Ed and Cindy/AZ from ridecamp who helped me through
some training issues and equipment needs. Thanks to Karen, KC, Noreen,
Keith and Paula who helped me with scores and trail hints. I DID
IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW am I ever hooked... My horse LOVED IT! The people were
so cool and then I found out that this is ED and Wendy's old ride- very cool! I
had a blast. Everyone was kind and helpful- full of advice. AND what a trooper
the vet was! Working with an injury herself and only one novice
endurance vet assistant. THAT'S endurance or Cowboy up... Thanks from this
newbie for a fabulous adventure beginning!!!!!!!!!
