I submit, that while that is the reality, and that some famous stars ride Arabians, we are talking about perception here. I'll bet that if you asked the average person about the breed of horse ridden by the cowboy stars of the past, most would answer the Quarter horse. That is the perception, the reality is that many of the horses were grade horses, some were gaited, and others were just about any breed you can think of. By the way, does anyone know the breed of that enormous gray ridden by Jim Arness in Gunsmoke? When trying to sell something, you have to deal with and change perception, not reality.
