It seems to me that the best way to handle a situation like
this is to have 2 troughs. One for the 'purists' and one for those that
don't practice 'safe...'. That should make everyone Happy. I've
spoken w/a Board Member that says her horse doesn't drink out of buckets, but
would from a trough, so that side will be covered at the Board Meeting. On
the Safe Side, there is a lot of Strangles going thru the area this year.
