Hi All, got this from my neighbor. He and another endurance guy
thought this up. I agree if we all could do it somehow, it would make a
difference. Think about it, all day tuesdays, thru out the country!
That would surely make a dent! Just make sure you have enough gas prior so
it would be not big deal to forgo on tuesdays. And yes, don't buy the mini
market stuff. That will make a difference too.
Anyway, I figure at this point anything may make a difference.
I found out even a "thank you" to the manager of a station "trying" to keep
the price down can make a difference. I did that at a local Arco
station. Their eyes got big, and next thing I notice they are the cheapest
so far and seem to want to help a little bit.
I went into another station today and asked why they were .20Cents higher
and they said the area was the same. I told them no, that is not
true. Check out the competition up the street. He said he'd talk
with the owner...Whether he does or not I don't know. But it may be well
worth the effort. The way I look at it if we don't inquire like that in a
non-confrontational way, they may just think we as the public don't care and
will pay anything..
So, if you want maybe give this a try...just might surprise us all!
Are you tired of seeing gas prices
escalating as they have? Are you tired of seeing the "Big Gas" Companies
and refineries making huge profits while taking the money out of your pockets?
Well, here might be a solution. Please read and if you agree, please forward
this to as many people as you can. Maybe, just maybe this would make a
difference!!
The Great Gas Boycott
Do not buy gas on Tuesdays. I know you
are saying to yourselves, "this won't do anything, we all need to buy gas so,
what's the difference if we don't buy on Tuesday. We still need to buy gas and
will just have to buy it on another day". Ok, here's the point. If we all
don't buy gas on Tuesdays, and don't buy products sold in the "Gas/mini-marts"
on Tuesdays, (This is where they make the most profits), the gas companies
will loose a tremendous amount of money just on the one day sale. SO, If we
boycott on Tuesdays and show solidarity, maybe, just maybe we can show these
large oil/ gas companies that we are tired of them racking us over the coals
and stop them from making such huge profits while we the consumer are
emptying our pockets at their pumps.
Remember, "No gas on Tuesdays". We
can make a difference!!!!!!
