Re: [RC] Banana Spiders - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Nicole z_arabs@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Here go MB - this is what the sucker looks like (and about the same size). They are quite harmless. A lot less dangerous than a rattler or rogue mountain lion. Enjoy http://www.photohome.com/photos/animal-pictures/wildlife/argiope-spider-1.html Oh, we've got these in California, too. Don't know about MB's part of the state, but I used to see them in the riverbed in Norco/Riverside all the time. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen them in many years, I wonder why? ~Nicole ============================================================ They're athletes! This is a partnership between horse and rider - we don't have any jockeys out there, just pals and partners. We'd allow a rider with a broken foot, a sore back and a nasty cold to compete - but we would never let a horse in a similiar condition hit the trail. ~ Dr. Barney Flemming DVM ridecamp.net information: http://www.endurance.net/ridecamp/ ============================================================
