I have completed the 50 twice and 25 once and know the trail. I start after the pack and will be riding conservatively, but not dead last. My gelding will lead or follow, he doesn't kick but tailgaters upset him. For the 25 I will also have a newbie with me that is worried I will get pulled and she will have to ride alone - I told her not everyone is racing and not to worry.
