I really agree with Judy Shatir. I have always felt there are too many 
over-trained horses for Tevis than under-trained. Endurance is about longevity 
in 
the sport.  If you wear a horse out in his early endurance years, he is, with 
rare exception, not going to be out there for very long.  Julie Suhr
