As always, when bloodline threads come up, there is a flurry of subsequent
posts wanting pedigrees looked at.  One common error has come up in three
different private posts so far this morning, so I thought it might be
worth mentioning publicly.

There were TWO stallions named Bandos.  One is a modern Polish stallion
who was foaled in the 60s and breeds on in modern Polish pedigrees.  That
is NOT the same Bandos that Wendell Robie rode and owned.  Wendell's
Bandos was bred and born in the USA--bred by JR Dickinson at Travelers
Rest, and foaled in 1940.  Wendell was riding this Bandos on what was to
become known as the Tevis a decade or so before the Polish Bandos was even
born.

Wendell's Bandos was by the WR Brown (Maynesboro) import *Nasr and out of
the early Polish Dickinson import *Ba-Ida, as already mentioned.

moments when you pop up over a hill and are suddenly surrounded by the most
