I brought back a pair of these boots three years
ago from the Equitana in Germany. It seems that they put a lot of thought
into these boots. They have an air chamber in the back that you pump up
with a bicycle pump, to help them stay on. They are quite easy to put on, but I
find them quite heavy. I also have concerns of the air chamber rubbing and
causing sores if dirt gets inside. Never tried them on an endurance ride,
just on little training rides. The gelding I got them for trips a lot, but then
that might be just him. I no longer have him.
Kinda put the boots in a corner and forgot
about them. I will try and weigh one of them tonight and compare the weight to
an Easy Boot. Now that I remembered that I have a pair I will play with them
this weekend and try them on a different horse. Will give you an update on
Monday.
