Re: [RC] How many saddles do folks buy for endurance? - Paul LatiolaisLet's see:1) I started with an Australian. A horse broke the tree. I was green then, and so was the horse. 2) Then I went to a second hand custom western, that did not fit any horse well. Sold that one. 3) Then to a Fred Hook endurance saddle by Montana Saddlery, second hand. My wife did not like it. I liked it, but my horse grew out of it. That one is FOR SALE, if anyone is interested. 4) I now use a Synergist that I bought for my horse, that seems to fit all the horses I ride. It took a bit of getting used to and it is heavier than I thought it would be, but my horse and I both seem to like it. Four 50-mile rides in 9 weeks and no back problems. I only used the Fred Hook and the Synergist for endurance. Not too bad for five horses in about ten years, looking at others answers. -Paul On Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at 07:54 AM, Elkenchild@xxxxxxx wrote: What saddle is it, Cora?
