Re: [RC] methods to encourage drinking in ridecamp - RBluebirdprOne problem I've had before is my horse refused to drink the water available at a ride because of the different smell (at a Florida ride where the water had a sulfur smell was one example). Of course I started taking water from home but you can only take so much. So I started adding cool aid to his water about 4 days before I would leave. Once I got to the ride I would add cool aid to the water available. Then after I returned home I would gradually ease the cool aid out. It worked for this particular horse.Phil Rash
