RE: [RC] [RC] ? sweating humidity - CowgirgoofWe have dealt with panting horses in the high humidity here in Florida for ever. I have found that they cool better while being slow walked and having water put on and scraped off quickly. They also do better un-saddled, especially if you think they are getting in trouble. Becky ============================================================ Every horse can be taught to walk faster than you think. It is one of the most important qualities of a good riding horse. Some have it naturally, others need to learn. On the other hand, if you are riding a tired horse, an easy jog is more efficient, covers more groumnd with less effort.
