RE: [RC] [RC] Horse flies - Laurie Durgin

Hit them with your hand or as I did yesterday with a rubber currycomb(luckily, Scout didn't blink),to stun them ,then step on them. I 'd like to know too. We didn't have horseflies till about 2 years ago. Haven't heard of anything, maybe giant AFRICAN TOADS? :0)

Anybody have a good remedy for killing off horse flies? My mom has been using
predator flies around her barn and its worked wonders on the regular flies but
the horse flies are driving us crazy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't think you have to join a gym or buy frilly outfits to get some
fitness. A decent set of shoes and a 15 minute dismount here and there
will help.

Personally, I shouldn't give a s--- where the other people on the course
are, and if I find myself starting to concern myself over this, I remind
myself that this is the first step on the road to overriding my horse and
tell myself to "knock it off!" :)
