[RC] Corrector Pad Second Review - Roger RittenhouseI though I would write about Len Brown's pad again. Read the archive or the web site for first review. Since then we have done 4 LDs ( horrors) over 2 weekends and the Biltmore 50. I did NOT use the pad at the Million Pines 50- I was 'sure; yet. He ended up with a very slight sore back. However after all the other rides he did great, no back issues at all. I used the Synergist Saddle I HAD for sale. The one they could not make wider to fit him better. I am sold on this little $160 pad. It is of course not the 'perfect' pad the one that 'fixes all' but it sure worked for me - my saddle and my horse. I was impressed with the way he appeared to move - freer - he also tossed his head less..He does have a bad habit of head tossing when he does not get his way..but I do think the saddle did add to to his discomfort. I asked the ride vet to really check out his back ( at all the rides) to make sure I was not doing an easy test. NOTHING wrong . I do NOT use it as Len indicates. I placed it INSIDE the SKITO pad under the 1/2 inch foam. I really do recommend this pad. If you have saddle fit problems - try it. If it does not help give me a call - I may buy your pad.. at a 'used' price.. since Len will not offer a refund.. I want two pads for me and I want Carol to use it also. I like this pad so much I ordered another one. I have NO financial interest with LB or his company. This is NOT a paid commercial, I do not sell then. I will have it at the Lib Run. I out pictures up on the web shots photo site - I will move them allover to imageevents site later Roger Rittenhouse www.vmaxept.com 800 655 8629 pictures http://community.webshots.com/user/psdendurance pictures (new) at http://ImageEvent.com/vmaxept ============================================================ REAL endurance is your water freezing IN the cantle bags! ~ Heidi Sowards ridecamp.net information: http://www.endurance.net/ridecamp/ ============================================================
