RE: [RC] [RC] DQ's and boring arena work - Laurie DurginLet me clarify my quote below, about dressage in an arena. I have had some Dressage lessons, I believe in it, I have 4 books on the subject. and have read as many as I can when stuck at "Borders". I am teaching some of the easier moves to my horses. It is veeerrry valuable. I was NOT dissing dressage.(well, maybe the "rein sawers"). I was relating it to stirrup length when I ride lots of hills and poor trails with lots of uneven ground, and that I found a 2 pt. position and shorter stirrups more beneficial on the hilly, rutty portions than "dressage length" stirrup position.I also am a fan of centered riding, and have two of her books too :0) Laurie and Rascal From: "Cindy Collins" <ccollins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [RC] DQ's and boring arena work Date: Tue, 18 May 2004 11:33:24 -0600 _________________________________________________________________ MSN Toolbar provides one-click access to Hotmail from any Web page ?
