RE: [RC] [RC] Blitmore - Tie-ups - Don't Be Discouraged - Howard BramhallIf memory serves me correctly (it rarely does) I do remember Tom Ivers (Tivers@xxxxxxx) has a product his company sells where he swears it will prevent this from happening to a horse. It?s one of those carbo loading supplements. I?d contact him and I?d also contact Susan Garlinghouse to see what they both have to say about all of this. It might be worth a shot. Your guess about the grass at Biltmore might be a correct one. A blood test on your horse may be in order. It?s one of the few problems I haven?t experienced first hands but I have seen this happen to others at rides. It seems to have happened to you quite early during a ride and is why I?d get a blood test done to see if the horse is deficient in any area that may have caused it. Hope this helps some. You?ll get lots of advice on this one. Between Tom, Susan, and the blood test you may find an answer. cya, Howard From: Stagg_Newman@xxxxxxxxxxxx To: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [RC] Bitlmore - Tie-ups - Don't Be Discouraged Date: Mon, 10 May 2004 14:27:45 -0400 _________________________________________________________________ Stop worrying about overloading your inbox - get MSN Hotmail Extra Storage! http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-us&page=hotmail/es2&ST=1/go/onm00200362ave/direct/01/ ============================================================ I don't think you have to join a gym or buy frilly outfits to get some fitness. A decent set of shoes and a 15 minute dismount here and there will help. ~ Jon K.
