[RC] [RC] NBS shoes - Lucy Chaplin TrumbullKathy: > Okay so what are NBS shoes? I have a mare that pulled > her shoes off...The last ride we put aluminum shoes on > the front and steals on the back and rolled her front toe. > Worked great for this particular mare. Kathy Don't know if anyone answered your question, but "NBS" are "Natural Balance Shoes", see: http://www.hopeforsoundness.com/edss/store/perfprod.html I'm no farrier, but NBS would no doubt do (more or less) the same thing as you did for your mare. NBS have a rolled toe and are set back on the foot - which makes for a faster breakover so by the time the back foot reaches forward to pull the front shoe off, the front foot is already gone. Does that make any sense? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Lucy Chaplin Trumbull elsie AT foothill DOT net Repotted english person in Sierra Foothills, California * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
