RE: [RC] Motor Home - David LeBlancDot Wiggins said: Good friend used a good sized Allegra and a 3 horse Featherlite for years. Pulled it to Iowa and Kansas, Arizona, Calif, and all over the NW. Really deluxe, don't remember hearing about any major problems with the rig. Was a little slow up the long hills, but respectable. Lots of $ though. I think the bigger ones work out better. The smaller ones are built on top of a normal truck chassis, and do well to pull themselves. I'd also worry about getting them fixed. If my truck breaks down, I can drop the trailer and get it fixed a lot of places. Not so with a MH. Seems like they get in a lot of places and are comfy, though. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
