Re: [RC] why mountain region horses are so tough! - Suzi Maiorisi
It's a TOASTY 28 degrees out the back door in South Texas this afternoon (20 when we first got up)...Might make it to 30...don't think I'm quite ready for subzero temps anytime soon! Stay warm...

Subject: [RC] why mountain region horses are so tough!
The weather channel and the news stations don't much care about what happens in the mountain west...we're just "fly over country", but thought you guys from other parts of the country might like to see why our horses are so tough! ha, ha! Here's today's report:
Frigid temperatures this morning across western and central Wyoming...
An arctic front swept through Wyoming Sunday bringing the coldest airmass of the season. Skies were clearest this morning... allowing the temperatures to reach their lowest yet. Here is an updated list of low temperatures from around the area for January 6, 2004.
