Nicole,

I usually order mine from one of the local pharmacies. Last time I
bought it I paid $11 a pint. That was a few years ago (I usually order
several at a time).


You can also get your vet to order it for you.

What you want is not full strength formaldehyde (really nasty stuff in a
40% solution) but what is known as formalin--10% formaldehyde.  This is
the strength that is used to "pickle" tissue samples sent in for
histological analysis.
