Re: [RC] Cutting Trail or as I call it - cheating - heidiI agree, we don't need more rules, just follow the ones we have. In some of our PS desert rides, we do have checkpoints we have to go through, but not just to stop cheating - it's also a safety issue so management knows where we are & where the last horse is. Yep! My husband, an 8th grade PE teacher & coach, says: "Cheaters never win & winners never cheat," I vote for that one to go into the Great File of Ridecamp Quotes! Heidi ============================================================ Riding alone is when you teach a horse all the "tools" and "cues" he needs to handle the trail, to hold a speed, deal with hills, etc. It's also where you develop the "bond" that causes him to "defer" to you before losing his cool. ~ Jim Holland ridecamp.net information: http://www.endurance.net/ridecamp/ ============================================================
