Just another question for all you experienced horsy
people. Has anyone ever had a horse tear their hamstring muscle? I
had the vets at the last endurance ride when my mare came up off say they
thought she tore her hamstring muscle she would not put all her weight on her
left hind leg. She was fine if she kept moving but seemed to stiffen up if
rested. She seemed fine the day after and I caught her trotting around so
I stuck her in a smaller pen and today two days later she is spinning and
running around the small pen. I guess I need to tie her in one place HA
gotta love the arab go. Just trying to keep them quite it another
thing. My concern is if it was torn wouldn't she still be off on it and
sore? Maybe she pulled it or strained it? I have an apt to get it
ultrasounded on Thursday just wanted to see what everyone thought.
