He said people like that are rare. Are you a >rare bird Susan G? Hmmm. Well, I've been called a turkey, a chicken, a pigeon, a chick sometime in the seventies when I was still wearing bikinis and a mother duck.....or, something close to that. <g> A rare bird, nah. Ray Geor (*pronounced* Gore)has the New Zealand version of a DVM, a PhD, is board certified in internal medicine and is brilliant to boot. They don't get any better. I'm just a master's in nutrition and a DVM. I'm about two year's education shy of having a PhD. Thanks for mentioning me in the same paragraph as Ray, though. :-)))product. I don't have a clue who Dr. Gore is and would >certainly feelbetter if people like Susan G., Barney >Flemming, Ken Marcella and people that we have at least >heard of had been consulted or asked for some imput. I I would never in a thousand years claim I had been "consulted" regarding any new feeds, but have had conversations with Ray and Scott King (also a DVM who heads the new product division) about feeding endurance horses and what some of the issues are. Just shop talk when our paths happen to cross. I'd feel pretty comfortable thinking Purina has kept their ear to the ground when developing new endurance feeds.
