Re: [RC] Hide the Horse Food - heidi

Hi: A critter can become excited see the ready food and thus raise its
P&R's or even worse it may eat prior to being vetted and this may cause
the P&R's to rise as a part of the digestive process and seeing,
smelling their favorite treats. If the critter eats it may not be
possible to lower the P&R's in a timely manner.

Uh, SOME horses do that. After a bazillion years of pulsing and vetting,
I'd wager the majority are not much affected at all (other than be sure
their head is UP while the pulse is actually being taken), and some (like
a couple of mine) will get so downright PO'd if there is no food that
their pulses will DROP 8 beats or so once they get the food.

This isn't one of those things that is an absolute--this is one of those
things where you have to know your own horse.

Heidi
