Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] fear--how to keep your "seat" - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Nicole z_arabs@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Hi Nicole... I'm not sure I guess how to keep my weight in my lower body when I post...I do post low, as others have disussed, so I"m not rising that high or anything. But, it is interesting to think more on that subject of keeping my weight down even as I"m 'up'. Thanks, terry -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Terry, As I said, it's something that you really have to be aware of and paying attention to at first to figure out what you're doing. I had it pointed out to me by a fabulous dressage trainer. She then had me dismount and we worked on some exercises on the ground and gave me some non-horse-related "home work" to work with on my own. If you can find a really good dressage trainer, even a couple lessons to work on basics is well-spent money. :) ~Nicole ===========================================================Far back, far back in our dark soul the horse prances...
