If that day ever comes (before one of my horses take me out), I will quit this sport entirely. I do not think I could ever attend a ride knowing you weren't there (to watch my back) or, at another ride or, back home in Tennessee.

I hope I live to see the day you are President of AERC, Madam Vice-President. When that day comes I will truely know the South has Rissen (again) to where it once had been. When I think of this sport, I think of you.
