That is an excellent idea. The is already a sport out there that many
people seem to keep trying to change LD into. At least in FL you can
opt out of the "horsemanship" judging if you want since it is not
mandatory and judged as a separate category.
For those that think LD should be an event where speed is discourged
(in CTR you lose points for coming in too fast) and all are judged for
BC (in CTR all horses are judged for condition) the good news is that
sport already exist and anyone that wants to go ride it can. It's call
CTR it's a wonderful sport in it's own right. There are many for what
ever reason chose LD over CTR.
