[RC] friendly ride managers make a difference - bkwranchHi, everyone, I always just lurk (well, never say always because here I am de-lurking) but as new AERC members this year, my husband and I just want to say how much we appreciate the welcome we received from the ride managers of the three rides we are planning to ride. I e-mailed these ride managers asking for entries and when we received the information I noticed that each one of them had included a note telling us how much they were looking forward to seeing us at their ride. This may seem like a small thing, but it sure made me feel good. My thanks go to M.J. and Dean Jackson (Antelope Island), Paschal Karl (Black Hills), and Howard Kent (Strawberry Fields Forever).
