[RC] re: Bummed and injured - A. PerezSounds like a perfect opportunity for clicker-training! Alexandra Kurland has a book, website, videos etc on the subject. It is fun and VERY time-consuming, and can be used in conjunction with any other training method. I've done some with my dogs, and a bit with Idiot Boy when I first got him, to teach him to stand for mounting. Now that he is suffering from Spring Grass Psychosis, I may try it to see if I can keep him playing Whirling Dervish when I try to pony Lexi from while riding him. P.S. Check out Alexandra Kurland's website and 'the Panda Project' - she is teaching a miniature horse to be a seeing eye guide! ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag ============================================================ Prudence and focus will carry you a long way on a horse. ~ Frank Solano ridecamp.net information: http://www.endurance.net/ridecamp/ ============================================================
