Re: [RC] Thanks for 'Trucks' - heidiAll of you that travel the roads of Oregon, Washington and Idaho will be happy to hear that you convinced me to upgrade my truck. I am out of that deathtrap I was driving. I now have a suitable truck to haul my horse trailer and camper. I can actually STOP at stoplights now, and I don't have to worry about those pull out and stop drivers. Thanks for all of the truck advice on ridecamp. It really helped. -Paul And hey, congratulations are in order to Paul and "Pete-the-Paso" on completing their first 50 at Home on the Range! I rode the last little bit with Paul and Pete, and ol' Pete was truckin' right along--and not in a truck! Heidi ============================================================ The very essence of our sport is doing the trail as quickly as practicable, while keeping one's horse fit to continue. Taking the clock out of the equation makes it another sport altogether. The challenge is how to keep the sport what it is while honing our skills (both as riders and as those in control roles) in detecting where "the edge" is for each horse so that we don't cross it. ~ Heidi Smith ridecamp.net information: http://www.endurance.net/ridecamp/ ============================================================
