[RC] sticking 'em with a horseshoe nail? - Ridecamp Guest

 This is for not for those of you who feel that a horse must NEVER experience
anything painful or negative from the handler/rider: what about the old
Missouri trick of sticking them with a horseshoe nail when you want to give
them a "negative!"? I've heard of it being used to prick 'em in the withers in
front of the saddle,and also positioned as an "accessory" at the front of each
hooded stirrup for punishment of "unauthorized excursions to the side".I'd be
perfectly willing to try it on a horse less quick and explosive than my buddy
Chico;with him however...

===========================================================Just because someone
tells you that your horse isn't "fit" for
endurance...doesn't mean it isn't, it just means your horse isn't fit to be
"their" endurance horse! Go for it, you never know what you'll accomplish
with that "saddle horse" or "trail horse" of YOURS!
