Re: [RC] fresh meat - Chris PausHey, Barbara, welcome! With that warped sense of humor you ought to fit right in with us, LOL! chris --- Barbara Goldthorpe <bgoldtho@xxxxxxx> wrote: I've been lurking about since I subscribed to the list last week, but I've finally decided to post something. About me: 20 year old college student in Vermont majoring in Animal Science with a minor in nutrition (and aspirations to become an equine nutritionist), ridden horses since I was 8 years old, mostly huntseat with a little dressage and quite a bit of trail riding. I don't have my own horse unfortunately. I've been looking to get started in endurance for awhile now. Being that I am absolutely green, I do have a lot of questions. My main one right now is how old is too old? (For a horse to start endurance, or even one with a little experience). One more thing-I'm British, so I have a warped, warped sense of humour =D Barbara Goldthorpe bgoldtho@xxxxxxx ===== "A good horse makes short miles," George Eliot Chris and Star BayRab Acres http://pages.prodigy.net/paus ============================================================ The very essence of our sport is doing the trail as quickly as practicable, while keeping one's horse fit to continue.
