Re: [RC] Yearbook - Barbara McCrary

That picture was taken by Lynne Glazer at our Swanton Pacific 75/100 ride
last August. The riders had just arrived at (or were leaving) the Butano
airstrip vet check. This is located at the top of a mountain, high above
the deep canyons and other mountains, with a view of the ocean several miles
away. It is one of my favorite vet checks. Since it is so remote, crews
are not allowed, but our grandkids help riders with their horses while their
parents oversee the check. Food for horses and refreshments for riders are
provided. I wish I could spend all day there, instead of running around
checking trail junctions for markings and hanging our light sticks for the
nighttime trail. It would be SO relaxing......

Come on guys - give them a break. They busted their butts to get them
out. In every first edition book you buy there are typos. In every piece
of software you buy there are bugs - new releases are to fix the bugs.

Not only that--I am so blown away by the cover photo I never even looked
at
the spine. What an awesome picture!

I don't think you have to join a gym or buy frilly outfits to get some
fitness. A decent set of shoes and a 15 minute dismount here and there
will help.
