Re: [RC] The new saddles WOW and Flair - Connie OwensI'm not Libby, but I recently had the opportunity to see and feel a WOW saddle in person. My barn owner is on the great saddle fit hunt for his fox hunters/dressage horses and has been dealing with a Lauriche (?) rep. This rep is also now a distributor for the WOW saddle. It is a quality made saddle, with an interchangable flared gullet plate (which I liked much better than the Wintec changeable gullets) and the air stuffed panels seemed to be easy to work with. The gullet plates come in many, many sizes and in combination with the adjustable air in the panels it seems you can get a pretty good fit on a horse. My barn owner used this on one of his TB's and got it to fit very well. However, the way the seat of the saddle seam is raised a little bit above the leg flap, he said that it was very uncomfortable for him to find a position for his legs to fall comfortably otherwise he liked the saddle. It's expensive though, $2,500, but the leather is very nice and quality. Personally, I like the Lauriche saddles better, beautiful saddles but way too pricey for me ($3K - 4K). Connie Ft. Libby can you give us some info on them and when they will be available? The web site looked great and got my interest so give us the low down.
