Tell the vet that you have a gaited horse and it may not trot the way s/he expects. I don't know enough about Walkers to know if they "trot out." But having ridden other gaited horses (Paso Fino, Icelandic, MFT), I can tell you that it helps to tell the vet in advance....although most of them can tell anyway :).
