The second one sounds particularly interesting - 5 days in the Gobi Desert
on 2 hump Bactrain camels ...

with endurance folks in mind.

(word is from Egypt that planning for a 5 day ride from Abu Sir to Sharm al 
Sheik
in mid November is in the works too....sigh.)

As for me, I'll be glad to get home and ride a bit of owyhee county again:)
-- steph arrives LAX tomorrow -- Jackie, Tracy, and Merri are scheduled 
back on
the 7th -- but it sounds like Merri may be drawn toward Greece -- time will 
tell.....
