Fantastic story!! By the way, anyone who runs or
rides alone, you should carry a very loud whistle. That might of made that
mountain lion leave--hearing that blown in his tender ears. They sell these
great whistles at backpacking stores that can be heard up to 2 miles. If you
ever get hurt and your horse decides to leave you, you have that whistle when
people come searching for you. Saves your voice which can wear out after several
minutes of yelling.
