Re: [RC] Paint Alternative Competition points - Milinda EllisPenny, We just expanded our breed's Performance Award program (Cleveland Bay Horse Society of North America) to include distance riding. We *can* have members from other countries competing for the award (which covers both endurance and competitive trail) and because of the different ride formats (especially in the UK), we're going by completion mileage only. We're also only counting those miles accrued in officially sanctioned rides (AERC, NATRC, EGB, AERA). Participants also use a logbook, turning it in along with copies of their vet cards... If you want additional information, let me know. I drafted the paperwork and will be the one administering the "distance" part of the Performance Award program. I don't know if ours has been posted to the clubs website yet. Guess I should go and look...
