In Auburn, California, the Bureau of Reclamation is planning on destroying 
the tunnel which gives us access to a nice 15 mile loop to Cool and back 
over the Coffer Dam and No-Hands Bridge. The 'Friends of the River' has 
persuaded the Bureau of Reclamation to restore the American River back to 
its original path, in order in promote river rafting. I was just wondering 
if anybody in AERC is organizing a protest to the destruction of the tunnel 
in the coffer dam, which we as taxpayers spent millions os dollars 
building. Aren't we, as endurance riders, as important as river rafters? 
Not to mention the hikers and bicyclists that use that path every day. We 
need to get organized in order to protect our trails. If you use that
