[RC] athlete defined - Ed Kilpatrick

i remember reading a rather humorous story a few years back about a major league baseball player.   he was a first baseman for philadelphia i think.  during pregame warmups, a lady in the bleachers was near enough to carry on a conversation with him.  she pointed out his somewhat ample midsection and the pouch of chewing tobacco in his pocket and stated that as a professional athlete he should set a better example.  he replied,"lady, i'm not an athlete!  i'm a baseball player!"  :-)    ed
