We're trying to buy some horse property in the Sacramento Valley in N.
California.  Any suggestions on what to plant in the pasture?  I expect

This same answer applies to anywhere else in the country, as well as
Calif---contact the extension agent at the nearest university with some sort
of agriculture department, and ask them for suggested pasture forages for
your area.  They'll have a better idea of soil conditions, rainfall and
other growing conditions for your area.  Nina, for your area, contact UC
