My response is this:

The only American there I can comment on from personal knowledge is Steve 
Rojek, and that man and everyone else from his farm--Dinah, et al, are 
class acts. They put their horses first *always*, and are some of the most 
gracious and sportsmanlike folks I've had the good fortune to meet.

There are horsemen the world over, and there are those who would put the 
horse second in their quest for glory the world over.
The best you can do is to do right by your own, and try to set an example.


As for Steph's comment:
If I had a horse, the talent, and the money to go, I'd be there in a 
heartbeat. My one short trip to that part of the world has left me longing 
to go back and spend more time there.
